We DO NOT offer conscious oral sedation or general anesthesia in our office at this time. We do offer Nitrous Oxide or “Laughing Gas”. This can help reduce a child’s anxiety and help them better cooperate for care.
It is important to understand that nitrous oxide may not be an effective treatment choice for young children who cannot breathe through their noses consistently.
For more information about nitrous oxide, oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia please visit the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry website.
